My name is Paulina Grant and I am a graduate of the Humber College Early Childhood Education diploma program. I am currently enrolled at York University for an Undergraduate in French and a Bachelor of Education for French Immersion. Between 2015 and 2017 I worked very hard towards earning my Early Childhood Education Diploma and am thrilled that I have the opportunity to work in the field where I have truly found my passion. In 2015 I graduated from Erin District High School with a French Immersion Diploma and was awarded a scholarship from the United Way for recognition of over 1200 volunteer hours. I am certified in First Aid and CPR training.
I chose the path of an educator because I want to make a difference. While there are many fields in which I could accomplish this goal, I feel that education is the one in which I can have the greatest impact. Teaching requires patience, understanding, compassion, and enthusiasm – all things that I am more than willing to provide on a daily basis.
I am very excited to be able to use my bilingualism in the classroom and am very thankful for the opportunity to teach for the Maples Child Care Centre. I looks forward to being able to work so closely with the team I got to spend my last semester at Humber learning from.
